Wether and What to Wear
Temperatures can be decieving during the autum months in central Florida, This is because the cool weather can very often give a false sence of security about the sun

These temperatures in autum and winter do viry wildly with lows reaching below freezing one day and reaching above 90 the next, From May until September the heat can reach well above 100.

When spending a lot of time outside at Theme Parks or other attractions do ensure you wear plenty of Sunscreen.

One Sunscreen to look at is "P20", you can pick this up at the airport before you leave, but let us warn you it is not cheap and will cost about £20.00 for a small bottle, However it is very good you just apply a small amount on about 20 mins before you go out, this then works for the rest of the day, you can even go in the pool and not worry about getting burnt

Please also ensure whilst you are at any of the parks that you drink plenty of fluids, Thats water and or soft drinks not alcohol, Publix and Wal*Mart both have an excellent range of own brand named drinks that are great value for money.

Theme Parks

If you arrive at an attraction early walk to the back of the park first, if you arrive late start at the front, the best months to visit the Parks are December, May September and November (Not the 4th Thursday>>> Thanksgiving Day)

Most Parks have a "Fast Pass" system that works like this... You place your main ticket in one of the fast pass machines outside the ride, the machine then gives you a ticket with a time on it, you then return to the ride at the stated time and go to the fast pass queue, please note you can only hold up to two fass tickets at any one time, so get them both together, so as one runs out you can get another.

Another point about the fast pass, is that if you only have a short queue at the ride it is better to join that rather than wast a fast pass ticket.

Parking at the Theme parks is now $10.00, at Universal Studios your Parking ticket will let you return to City Walk later in that day, so if you do leave and plan to return do keep the ticket safe.

If you plan to visit the Wet`n`Wild the car park is at the back of the Park, however the entrance to the park is off International Drive, next to the main gate is "River Congo Golf" and some shops and Restaurants, along with a very large free car park, use this car park and save youself $6.00.

Soft drinks and food do tend to be very expensive in the Parks especial;y if you have a number of young children, It is a good idea to take a small cool box with you with soft drinks and food to the water parks, do not try to take beer as all boxes are checked at the gates and you will not be allowed to take beer in, you can however buy beer once in the Park.

Markets

Whilst you are on holiday you are obviously going to eat out a number of times, however, and especially if you have a number of children you may also want to eat in and will need to buy fruit and veg.

The local Publix and Wal*Mart stores are great value for most items but veg can be a little expensive so we can recomend two really good value markets, the Osceola Flea Market and Websters Farmers Market.

They are not too far from our villa bye USA standards, the Osceola Market will take you aprox 30 mins and the Websters Market would take about 1 hour.
